Walda Juhl

Walda has been in love with the arts since childhood, she has evolved into a watercolor/acrylic artist in adulthood. Her favorite time is painting en plein air (outdoors) in MI. She loves Michigan. The below painting was done while camping in North MI near Mackinaw City. Walda has painted in competitions and plein air festivals in MI as well as out of state. Last year, she had the honor of painting in the mining town of Central City, CO.  She belongs to Studio 23 in Bay City and to SAWA in Saginaw where she leads the plein air group on outings every month. Walda recently launched her website and completed a series called Nature Walks, spotlighting the creatures and flora she sees on her walks along Michigan ditches and roadways.

"I love our water; swimming in it, looking at it and painting it!"
