Bio:
Renee Atkinson, a 2023-2025 Island Batik Ambassador, is a member of the Detroit Society of Women Artists and Sculptors, Power in Poetry Experience of Detroit, and Studio Art Quilt Association (SAQA).
Renee's work has been curated at Muskegon Museum of Art, Posterity Gallery, Lawrence Street Gallery, and other Michigan art venues. Works have been published including Quilting Arts magazine (March 2025) and Winning Writers Anthology (April 2025).
