Kimberly Bauer Studio
Bio:
Kimberly Bauer is a printmaker/painter based in. Altoona,Wi. She is currently honing her skills in watercolor monotypes and white line woodcuts. She uses an antique Showcard Model A Press and silver spoon to print her images.
Trained in printmaking and painting at University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire Kimberly uses her love of watercolor and the offset of print to build her images.
"The Great Lakes are an endless, ever changing source of inspiration and peace. The vastness and power of the Lakes are a reminder of how fleeting and fragile life is. They remind me that all things are temporary and that we should treasure every minute because that next moment will be different and what was will be gone forever."
