Bio:

As an artist and woman in this world, being able to create gave Holly an opportunity to have a voice, be able to be a part of community and care through donating art and working with a group called Design for a Difference in Madison which helps non-profits raise money and get makeovers. She has found that her greatest healing and accomplishments came when she creates art. Art that is about how she feels and has felt in this world and her interactions with people , events and feelings about her part in this world.

"I have found the lakes to be extremely healing.  I graduated high school by lake michigan in manitowoc Wisconsin.  It felt like an ocean some days.  The vastness of water and sky , the changes of those just like we change how we feel sometimes. I live close to lake monona now in madison wi and find myself often visiting lake monona. Our lakes are sanctuaries and with the proposed Ai center taking over in port washington it grieves me to see the loss of safe, open public clean water. Some of the gifts of this place is we all have access to it. To walk the shores.  To mediate on the beaches nestled in the cities along the lakeshore. The lakes are sacred and should be treated as such. "
