About the Event

This event is part of the Ultimate Great Lakes Cleanup Road Trip. Great Lakes Great Responsibility Founder Meag Schwartz is the winner of the Chevy Fast Trax Your Future Contest and will be using the 2024 Chevy Trax to haul supplies to this cleanup as she pursues her dream of cleaner, fresher water in the Great Lakes!

  • Cleanup materials will be provided, but we welcome you to bring your own gloves, buckets & trash grabbers.
  • Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
  • Anyone & everyone is welcome! Be prepared to clean up litter with like minded individuals who are passionate about making the Great Lakes more inviting for everyone to enjoy them responsibly. Get ready to laugh and have a great time!
  • This is a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, check our social media pages for cancellations.

  • We will meet at the main beach off of Tawas Beach Road, nearest the lighthouse and pavilion. Look for the turquoise tent!
