About the Event
THE ULTIMATE GREAT LAKES CLEANUP ROAD TRIP: 5 LAKES, 1 WEEK
This is Stop #1: Lake Superior on the Ultimate Great Lakes Cleanup Road Trip happening August 9-14, 2023 to raise awareness about marine debris in the Great Lakes. Great Lakes Great Responsibility Founder Meag Schwartz is the winner of the Chevy Fast Trax Your Future Contest and will be using the 2024 Chevy Trax to haul supplies to this cleanup as she pursues her dream of cleaner, fresher water in the Great Lakes!
A big thank you to Marquette County Conservation District and Ore Dock Brewing Co. for their partnership on this event!
WHAT TO KNOW:
- Cleanup materials will be provided, but we welcome you to bring your own gloves, buckets & trash grabbers.
- Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
- Anyone & everyone is welcome! Be prepared to clean up litter with like minded individuals who are passionate about making the Great Lakes more inviting for everyone to enjoy them responsibly. Get ready to laugh and have a great time!

WHERE WILL WILL MEET:
- Meet us in the main paved parking lot in Presque Isle Park on Peter White Drive. (look for the turquoise tent!)
