17 artists, one inspiration: the Great Lakes. An incredible selection of artists from around the Great Lakes region have each donated a piece (or two!) of their work that was inspired by our fresh coast. The variation in colors, textures, light and medium is stark but they all point back to the water that sustains us all. On June 10, each piece will be put forth in a silent auction on Facebook. Funds raised will be used to start a mini-grant program for folks looking to cleanup larger Great Lakes dumpsites that might require extra disposal costs, dumpsters, etc. Additionally, funds will be used to sustain the efforts of Great Lakes Great Responsibility and the #GreatLakes1Million Challenge. We are incredibly grateful for each artist that has donated their time, talent and work to this effort.
