Did you know that the storm drains in Alpena flow directly, unfiltered into Lake Huron? Before the snow flies, let's make sure Alpena, its sidewalks and streets are clean to protect the water quality of our Great Lakes!
Join us for a cleanup on Saturday, November 5th in Downtown Alpena from 10am-11:30am. We will meet at Culligan Plaza then split up to comb the downtown spaces looking for litter and debris.
*This is a rain or shine event.
*Buckets, bags and gloves will be provided but bring your own if you have some!
