Brian is currently a member of Sheboygan Visual Artists and Oil Painters of America.  He paint oils on canvas and considers himself a tonal realist. His aim is to present reality by focusing on tone more than linear painting.  He takes his inspiration from the Australian and American schools of tonalism.  He is a founding member of Arts Mineral Point and the Paint the Point Plen  Air Festival.  Brian has exhibited at Wantoot Gallery, Mercantile Plaza in Port Washington, WI and numerous other Sheboygan Visual Artist shows.  His art education includes formal classes at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Harper College in Illinois and private study with noted midwestern artists.
