"The Great Lakes and surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful and need our help to stay that way. A lot of my days turn from rock hounding to trash pickup real quick. Being able to hound full time and be in these beautiful areas makes trash pickup my job. The Great Lakes are so inspiring!"
Bio:
Jesse Ayers has been rock hounding for most of his life around Duluth, Minnesota. With so many agates around their house, his partner Brianna had the idea to try making jewelry out of them! Most of the jewelry she makes are wrapped with different gauges of copper wire. Brianna recently started making copper settings for hand polished agates as well and is excited to see where that goes in the future! Some pendants take multiple hours for more intricate wraps such as dragons or other creatures. Jesse and Brianna have formed a great relationship when it comes to agates and jewelry: handpicked by Jesse, handmade by Brianna.
