Join the Alpena County Democratic Party as they celebrate Earth Day by gathering to target and clean up 1-3 illegal dump sites around Alpena County.

About the Event
Join us Saturday, 4/24/21, 9:00am at Duck Park for coffee and donuts before we head out to help clean up some of Alpena County's many illegal dumpsites. This has become a serious problem in our County, and we are here to help! On Saturday, we are targeting 3 sites: Devils Lake, Hamilton Road and Rockport. All money raised will go toward proper disposal of illegal waste. Any leftover funds will be donated to a local initiative called Great Lakes Great Responsibility. We support Alpena native Meag Schwartz, an environmentalist, who is determined to pick up 1 million pieces of trash from the Great Lakes Watershed.
